The proof is in the fact that I have 12 books on hold at the library right now and already have 11 checked out.

P.S. You should get a library card! It will save you tons of money and save some trees!Beccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04454844719358203405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3439823737924396912.post-7874557667871571432008-06-25T11:27:00.000-07:002008-06-25T11:27:00.000-07:00Jill, Becca. I check out about 20 books at a time (I never get to them all) from the library and could never justify spending the money it would cost me to actually buy them. I sometimes will splurge though if it's something my library doesn't carry, or if it's something I think I'll use frequently (usually this only includes reference books, but I think I'm going to make an exception for coffee table books too. Heh.).Beccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04454844719358203405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3439823737924396912.post-38879803116661644842008-06-24T15:18:00.000-07:002008-06-24T15:18:00.000-07:00I read about this book and tried to put it on my l...I read about this book and tried to put it on my library list, where I get most of my books, but it's not in their system. I usually only buy my favorite authors, but I might have to make an exception here. I'm a grocery store junkie, so I'm completely entranced by the premise.Jillhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01790372684512429774noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3439823737924396912.post-13646506568165547422008-06-21T13:29:00.000-07:002008-06-21T13:29:00.000-07:00Hi Colin! I haven't read anything by either of them so I'm super excited.Beccahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04454844719358203405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3439823737924396912.post-30000996556167541572008-06-21T10:39:00.000-07:002008-06-21T10:39:00.000-07:00Hm? And I see you secretly like travel essays. Have you by chance read Tony Hawks (not the skateboarder) or J. Maarten Troost? They are two of my favorite travel writers.Colin Matthew (TheBookPirate.com)https://www.blogger.com/profile/04352386043443302180noreply@blogger.com
